Utilities Bootcamp & Internship
Bootcamp: June 15–19, 2026 (AmSkills Training Facility)
Internship: June 22 – July 31 2026 (Pasco County Utilities)
Eligibility: Pasco County students ages 16+
Cost: $35 Bootcamp registration fee
Spots Available: 12 students
The Utilities Bootcamp & Internship is a career-focused program for high school juniors and seniors interested in utilities and facilities maintenance.
Students begin with a one-week intensive bootcamp at AmSkills, gaining hands-on exposure to foundational technical skills, workplace safety, and troubleshooting concepts used across infrastructure careers.
Selected students then move into a six-week paid internship with Pasco County Utilities, working alongside industry professionals in a real-world environment.
Through this program, students:
- Explore careers in utilities and infrastructure
- Develop foundational electrical and mechanical skills
- Learn structured troubleshooting methods
- Gain paid, real-world work experience
- Build a direct pathway into future employment or advanced technical training
This program connects classroom learning to real careers – preparing students to step confidently into the technical workforce.
