AmSkills is partnering with Public Consulting Group (PCG) to launch a new, competency-based Industrial Maintenance Technician (IMT) Apprenticeship Program.

Under this partnership:

• PCG will serve as the Program Sponsor and Administrator, managing registration, compliance, and all required documentation through RAPIDS.
• AmSkills will operate exclusively as the Related Technical Instruction (RTI) provider, delivering a full year of hands-on and online training aligned to industry-recognized competencies.

This 12-month apprenticeship model gives employers a streamlined, turnkey solution for developing skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians while reducing administrative burden. Employers simply enroll their apprentices, and PCG + AmSkills manage the rest – from registration and training to ongoing tracking and support.

The program includes:

• Competency-based progression aligned with seven IMT Duty Areas
• Blended RTI delivery (Amatrol simulations + hands-on labs)
• Employer mentorship and on-the-job training
• Skills verification, assessments, and credential opportunities
• A single point of contact for employer support

This partnership strengthens the regional workforce pipeline and makes it easier than ever for Tampa Bay employers to hire, train, and advance new IMT talent.
