Summer Camps
AmSkills BuildLab: 3D Printing & Robotics Camp
The AmSkills BuildLab Camp is a hands-on, one-week program designed for students ages 14–16 who are curious about technology, engineering, and how things work.
Throughout the week, students assemble and calibrate their own 3D printer, learning how mechanical systems, electronics, and software work together to bring designs to life. Students are also introduced to robotics fundamentals, including sensors, motion, programming basics, and problem-solving.
Students will:
- Build and operate a functional 3D printer
- Learn the fundamentals of robotics and automation
- Understand how mechanical and electrical systems integrate
- Develop troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
- Gain hands-on experience in a professional technical training environment
This camp sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and introduces students to advanced manufacturing and automation pathways — no prior experience required.
