Adult Pre-Apprenticeship (Pasco) Jan 13th, 2020

Are you a "Young Adult" who doesn't know what career to start?  Or are you an adult who wants to enjoy your job AND MAKE MORE MONEY?  The Adult Pre-Apprentice Program allows you to explore multiple Advanced Manufacturing Career Jobs through "hands-on" projects, tours to local manufacturers and preparation to "Launch" a new career in Manufacturing.  After completing 80% hands-on projects in 3-Career Tracks such as CNC Machining, Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance you will have the choice to select which career path you want to pursue and then AmSkills will assist in preparing you for the job interview, arrange interviews for you and then help you launch your career as an Apprentice Candidate. An AmSkills Coach and Manufacturing Mentor will assist you as you begin your new venture, learning new skills and increasing your income potential.

Advanced Manufacturing Level 1

This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools including lathes, mills, precision measuring tools, and related attachments and accessories in order to perform machining functions such as cutting, drilling, shaping, and finishing products and component parts.

Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please call for more Details

Mechatronics Classes - Electricity Lvl 1

This class covers basic safety practices for voltages up to 600 volts and knowledge of voltage, current and power in AC and DC circuits, circuit analysis of series and parallel loads, and basic understanding of resistors, capacitors, and inductors.
