Machining Session 1 - Theory Only

This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools including lathes, mills, precision measuring tools, and related attachments and accessories in order to perform machining functions such as cutting, drilling, shaping, and finishing products and component parts.

Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm via video conference. Please call for if you would like more information.

Machining Session 2 - Manual Machining

- Saws and Cutoff Machines
- Offhand Grinding
- Drilling/Threading/Tapping/Reaming

- Tools, Toolholding and Workholding for Drill Press

Manufacturing Career Discovery Workshop (Pasco/Hernando)

Join us for a Manufacturing Career Discovery Workshop to learn how to transition your existing skills or learn new ones for the Advanced Manufacturing Industry. This 1-Day "hands on" workshop will allow you to experience what it's like to build the "Eiffel Tower", working together as a team. while learning about the many exciting career opportunities in the manufacturing industry!

Manufacturing 2-Week Boot Camp (Pasco/Hernando)

The Tampa Bay Works and AmSkills FREE 2-week Manufacturing Boot Camp consists of multiple hands-on projects, blueprint and measurement reading, intro to soldering, attending tours of local manufacturers and obtain an OSHA Safety Certificate. During the program, instructors will provide guidance and assist you in preparing for a job interview. All participants who successfully complete the Boot Camp will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be guaranteed a job interview on the last day! Those selected will have the opportunity to start work within two weeks!
